During your Initial Evaluation, Jessica will focus on understanding your unique issues and goals. Your strength, range of motion, motor control, posture, current activity level, and other factors that may be contributing to your condition will be thoroughly assessed. A personalized plan will be developed that outlines your Plan of Care, including how long it may take for you to reach your goals. Treatment will also be initiated the first session and may include manual therapy, dry needling if indicated, education, and the start of a home exercise program.

This is an optional, longer duration Initial Evaluation for those with HSD/EDS that allows additional time to review comorbidities, provide resources, and begin the Finding Functional Foundations treatment methodology. This appointment includes a $25 “Extended Visit” discount. If you are concerned about fatigue, please feel free to schedule the 60 min General Orthopedic Initial Evaluation.

Pelvic health therapy for women is offered by our therapist who is trained through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute and the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (a section of the American Physical Therapy Association). Please contact to book this type of appointment.

For optimal results, physical therapy often involves more than one visit and includes more than just exercise. Each follow-up session will be tailored to you and may include manual therapy, dry needling, motor control exercises, strength training, review and progression of your home exercise program, and/or education on activity/stress/and other factors that can contribute to pain. This 60 min Follow-Up includes a $25 “Extended Visit” discount.

These quick "in-and-out" sessions are perfect for more simple diagnoses or for dry needling, manual therapy, a home exercise progression/review, or a range of motion/strength check to assure progress.

These sessions may be appropriate for those with HSD/EDS who want to learn the FFF approach with a family member, who also has HSD/EDS. Each person must have had an Initial Evaluation first and deemed appropriate for group therapy. Please note individualized care for specific joint issues and/or manual therapy may be limited due to the nature of the sessions. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Each patient is required to schedule an Initial Evaluation for each new issue addressed in PT.
A few minutes will be taken at the end of each session to make payment and “check out”. Payment is expected in full at the end of each session. Please remember Conway Physical Therapy is Out-of-Network with all insurances and is not enrolled with Medicare. Patients who have Medicare will be unable to to submit their claims to Medicare for reimbursement.
